On June 16, 2017, an official clarification has been published by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia under the N 01 on the application of the provisions of Article 142, Part 1 of the Family Code of the Republic of Armenia. Citizens of the Republic of Armenia, wishing to marry and living outside of the Republic of Armenia may apply to a Consular office of the Republic of Armenia.

List of countries treated as offshore zones for the Republic of Armenia.
The Government of the Republic of Armenia has defined the list of offshore zones (countries) according to Decision No 595-N of June 1, 2017 (the decision comes into force from January 1, 2018).
The decision will be replacement to the Decision N 915-N of July 4, 2012, with amendments to the list of countries.

The Government of the Republic of Armenia adopted the decision N 619-N of 8 June 2017 On Establishment of the List of International Development Organizations of the Republic of Armenia (The decision comes into effect from January 1, 2018). The practical significance of the decision is conditioned by the application of Article 114 of the new RA Tax Code, which will come into effect from January 1, 2018.
