By the decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia No. 966-N dated September 22, 2016, an amendment was made to the government's decision on the procedure for assigning and paying the childcare benefit for children under two years of age, which stipulates that the childcare benefit is also assigned to a parent on childcare leave working for an employer registered in the Republic of Artsakh, provided that both the parent and the child are registered in the state population register at the address of residence in the Republic of Armenia and that no childcare benefit has been assigned to the parents of the child in the Republic of Artsakh.
