Approved by the first annex of the Treaty of April 11, 2017 "On the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union", in accordance with the 2nd paragraph of Article 266, Clause 3 of the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union, goods for personal use without customs duties, tax payment at the customs of the Eurasian Economic Union
the value, weight and/or quantity norms for importing into the territory are defined by the Eurasian Economic Commission based on the methods of importing these goods for personal use into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union. The relevant norms are defined by the Decision N107 of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission of December 20, 2017 (hereinafter, the Decision).
As it is known, goods for personal use can be imported into RA territory in three ways
- Postal
- Terrestrial
- Air
As of 2024:
Duty-free import threshold of postal goods - up to 200 thousand drams and 31 kg.
The duty-free threshold for the import of personal goods with accompanied and/or unaccompanied luggage by land, on foot - up to the dram equivalent of 200 euros and 10 kilograms.
For passengers arriving by air, the duty-free limit is 10,000 euros and 50 kg.
