By the amendment made to the RA Law "On Advertising" on July 16, 2020, brandy advertising will also be banned.

According to subparagraph b of part 5 of Article 15 of the RA Law "On Advertising" from 06:00 to 22:30 it is prohibited to place advertisements of strong alcoholic beverages in the media (alcohol content is 20 and more volume units), with the exception of advertisements for local cognac.
The new amendment, which entered into force on July 28, 2020, starting from November 28, 2020, prohibits advertising of locally produced cognac in the media from 06:00 to 22:30.
