Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a meeting, during which issues related to the provision of government assistance to potential investment projects were discussed.
"From the first day of the formation of the government, we declare that investments, including foreign ones, are of great importance for us. During this time, there were many contacts with investors, and they made a number of comments, raised questions.

As a result of discussions with investors, one of these ideas was formed by considering the possibility of applying the principle of the "investment window". What is the idea? That the investor has a specific address where he / she should get support and make a successful investment. The idea is also that the potential office has the opportunity and authority to perform a number of functions on behalf of investors and in relations with state authorities that are necessary to start activities, "said Nikol Pashinyan.
In this context, the activities of the Business Armenia Foundation, its assistance to investors and services provided were touched upon. The participants of the consultation, taking into account the proposal of Prime Minister Pashinyan, submitted various comments, including the above-mentioned activities of the Fund, and stressed the active, direct and open work with potential investors, the wide dissemination of information on improving the investment environment and possible support. In this sense, the simplification of tax administration and the implementation of reforms were also stressed out. The head of government also stressed the need to present investment projects to potential investors and implement post-investment support, which will help to fix concrete results. Nikol Pashinyan instructed the heads of the responsible departments to continue discussing these issues with Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan and present clear proposals in the future.
